these boots are made for walking

Seriously, these are the most comfortable heeled boots that I own!  Last month, after taking a good look in my closet, I told myself that I couldn't buy another pair of black shoes for a while.  That's all I had!  My friends had joked about it before, but it took me a little longer to realize that I wanted some other color in my life.  Anyways, I vowed not to buy any black shoes for at least a few months, so in come these booties.  I saw the black version of them in Forever 21, but I put them down because they were black.  Then, on a second visit to the store, I saw that they came in brown and lucky me, they had one pair left in my size!  However, when I went to try them on, I noticed something really bizarre- they were two left feet!  When I went up to the register to check if they had any more in my size anywhere in the store, they said that they didn't and they also didn't know where the right feet were.  So I left the store disappointed, but when I really want something, I can't rest until I get it (obsessive, I know!).  The next day I called the store to ask if they had any pairs in the next size up or the next size down and they did, they had a size 8.  They promised to hold them in the back, so I zipped over to the store and snatched them up!  First time I wore them was for a day of errands and my feet did not hurt one bit, so I'm quite pleased with this purchase :)  This dress is also one of my new purchases from Forever 21- seriously, that place sucks up all my money...

one of the biggest ornaments I've ever seen- I love it!

I resurrected this necklace from my jewelry box.  I bought it on my only visit to Berkeley a few years back because I love stars, but I've barely worn it because the chain it came with was way too short.  I don't know why it took me so long to switch the chain, but it did!
