On Nnenna's Needles #1

Red Licorice

Welcome to my new weekly feature- On Nnenna's Needles (thanks to Ashley for the awesome suggestion)!  On Wednesdays, I'll do a post about my knitting- either projects I'm currently working on or things that I've already made but haven't shown you guys yet.

This is my most recent knitting project, a late Christmas present for my godmother.  I started this ruffled scarf last Monday and finished it yesterday.  It was a very straight-forward knit, perfect to do while I'm watching back episodes of The Mentalist.  Then today, I sewed in one of my lovely personal labels that I purchased on etsy from RememberWynn.  Since every project that I give out is so personal, I love the special little touch that these labels add =)

What do you guys think of my first 'On Nnenna's Needles'?  Is there anything else about the project that you'd like to know? Let me know in the comments! :)

Thanks for your sweet comment! I love this scarf! What a gorgeous color! I tried knitting a few years ago and failed miserably! Just could not get the hang of it! So this is very impressive!

It's stunning! Looks really well made and also is a great colour. I also really like your blog header/theme. Did you make it yourself? And yes, it was literally Christmas for me again when the jewellry finally arrived in the mail :)

I used to knit years ago and then never had time to do it and totally lost the limited skills I had - you are so talented at it though! Seriously, this is beautiful.

I hope you feature more of your knitting in the future! I really like that scarf and it's something I'd probably buy (need knew knits). I'm always impressed by people who can knit. So nice of you to knit this for your godmother; the personal label is also a great touch.
