festive nails

Here are some festive nails to get you in the holiday mood (I was inspired by Sophi's nails!)  I just painted a bright red on my nails and then on top of that, I added a layer of gold shimmer nail polish.  A little something special for everyday and a great accompaniment to a holiday look!  I also wanted to say thank you to all of my new followers- it really makes my day chatting with you guys and reading all of your comments!  Also, I have exciting stuff planned for the holiday season, including a new look and my first giveaway when I reach 50 followers!  Stay tuned! =)

HI! You left a comment on my blog asking if I think a maxi skirt would work on a petite person. I'm pretty short I'm like 5'5"/5'6" so I'm only a few inches taller than you and I LOVE wearing maxi skirts. Honestly I thought I'd look ridic in one but I saw this girl on the train who was about my height with one on and was really taken back by how great she looked in it. So finally I decided to try one on and it was love! I think for us shorter people maxi skirts work really well when pairing them with heels it makes our legs look long esp if it's a high waisted maxi skirt. It wouldn't hurt just to go try one on. I def. recommend you trying it at least on to see how you really feel about it. :) Hope this helped.

BTW I love your nail polish. I just got mine done in a black/silver sparkle color. Yay sparkles!
